Hello Friends, this article will help you to register your other
state bike in Pune or any other Cities in Maharashtra. Generally many people say,
registration of other state vehicle is very big headache!
Is that really true? Yes it is true!
Me and my brother was in
Hyderabad for almost 7 years for education and job, at that time I purchased
new bike Bajaj Platina 125cc, and used for 3 years, after that I got another
job in my home city Pune, my bike was in excellent condition, but transferring
bike is time consuming and expensive work, hence me and my brother Narendra
decided to sell our first loving bike, and posted ad on Quikr, OLX, with some
reasonable price. But we did not get any buyer in one week of time, my wife and
father told me not to sell our first bike, let it be with us, Even I was not willing to sell.
Then finally we decided to transfer bike to MH,
same period my brother also got new job in Mumbai, he is a Fine Artist, worked
for big movies Baahubali, Linga, Bhag milkha Bhag, and many other Telgu and Hindi
films he went to Hyderabad RTO office, and found one Agent, to get NOC for
transferring vehicle from Hyderabad to Pune. He paid Rs1500 for NOC, that guy
sent me NOC by post, after one week. It was 2 copies of Form 28 and Original RC
book.
Here is Form 28 screen shot
Now the biggest process was registering bike in Pune. Once you enter
Pune RTO office, many agents will ask you, “Sir kya kam hai, ham karenge” Sir
we will do your work. But I thought let me try myself and went inside to find
out how to do!
I went around, asked RTO officers but could not gather proper
information. RTO
officers are completely corrupted. They want everything to come
from Agent so they will get commission. Even the process is very interesting; RTO Officers don't take money directly agents will give money to officers Chele ;) and get work done.
I came back with frustrated mind
and checked with agents nearby, some guys told me 6000, other guy said 4000 and
finally one guy said me sir I will do your work in 3000 but you have to get
signatures and all by your own from RTO officers, if we go, we have to feed them
lot of money, but they cannot question you anything, they must and should have to do
your work, if you are the direct User. (Unka Baap bhi kam karega, agar aap khud
hai to.) I will guide you every step. I said fine, he was nice man his name is
Shankar Shendge.
In that amount he did Notary and getting NOC from Pune Police
Commissioner.

that 15 days Pune RTO will ask Internal NOC from Parent state RTO office,

Friends this is the process of registering other state vehicle, it
was almost 2-3 month process. My total expenses are
1500 Hyderabad NOC, 1500 Bike shipping by train, 3000 RTO Agent,
230 RTO Fees, 2400 MH Lifetime tax and other some extra amount, All together total = 9000 to 9500 Rs and 5 months.
My suggestion is, if you love your bike very much and it is in
excellent condition then transfer or else sell in same state and take new bike
in other state.
I Hope this Article will help you to process your registration yourself, you should
give some time.
If you need any help you can contact this agent, who guided me with Fees ;).

Hi Anup! Thanks for the assurance
ReplyDeleteI am in a similar situation. I have already carried my bike from Noida to Pune and i guess i will need it here for an year or two maybe and then move back again. Registering the bike with MH number is not an option for me in such a case. Do you have any idea of how could i pay the roadtax and drive my bike in Pune?
Hi Mayank,
Deleteyes you can pay tax for 1 year or 2 years only, there is option to pay 1 year road tax and use your bike here, when i was paying the tax online, I had seen the 1 or 2 years tax pay option, I had given Agent number in article, he can help you; doing this RTO process self is very much tough.

ReplyDeleteHi Shahid, first you need to Take NOC from home State RTO that is Rachi, then you can take your Bike to bhubaneshwar, orissa, after that you can pay road tax for 1-2 years in bhubaneshwar, orissa and use it without any issues.
Deleteone more thing is NOC will be valid for 3 months only, before that you have to complete tax paying process. road tax will depends on your bike current valuation around 6% of valuation.
Yes and you can use same Number, only NOC and Road tax receipt you have to keep with you.
Deletebut as you said noc expires in 3 months so wat value will be there to cops of an expired noc?
Deletei came to know that lifetime tax needs to be paid and for that the bike has to be re registered..but not sure whether the number will also change or not...is it possible that even after re registration i can drive with old registration number legally? its going to cost around 10-12k my friend informed me
Hi Shahid, NOC will be there to just show that, it is non Stolen, non Criminal used bike, so that you will be allowed to pay Tax in Other RTO, once you pay tax you no need NOC, you have to show only RTO tax Receipt to police.
Deleteyou can even pay lifetime tax to RTO, keeping your old number as it is,
and as I said earlier tax will around 7% of your current valuation of bike, you can show Less valuation of your bike to pay tax. they will use Bike insurance to check current valuation of bike, because Insurance company will do bike valuation and that will be mentioned in insurance copy.
I think, you would get around 5 to 6K total expenses including NOC,

ReplyDeleteHi Anup, Thanks for sharing your experience.
ReplyDeleteI am Vaibhav .. I need to transfer my Bike (Pulsar) and Car (Swift) from Hyderabad to Pune. I got NOC for both the vehicles and have all the other necessary documents with me.Like PUC, Insurance, RC however I don't have invoice copy of both as I bought both of them 2nd hand. 1st owner didn't gave it to me (Even I didn't ask for it) .
Now My situation is, both vehicles are in very good condition and I am getting not a decent price for both of them in Hyderabad. So will be transferring both. Is there any option to pay tax for 1-2 years, if yes could you please share the link of the website where I can see the same.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards
Vaibhav
Hi Vaibhav,
DeleteNice to hear that you would like to transfer your vehicles to pune, there is another provision if you don't have Invoice copy, and also you can pay 1-2 years tax, from Maharashtra tax website, but for that you need to begin all registration process,
registration process is very complex and you need to give lot of time, i have given all process in article, you also need to do same, collect all documents and submit to pune RTO, or you can contact to RTO Agent, i have mentioned his name and number in article.
i would suggest you to transfer vehicle permanently to pune
in case of no invoice they will consider your vehical amount from Insurance papers, there is vehicle valuation on insurance paper, or you can submit affidavit.
DeleteSir rto se bike ka noc nikalne me kitna time lagega??
ReplyDelete3 ya 4 days ke beech me mil jayegi ki nahi
one week
