You guys may be thinking, why did i restored such an old vehicle? there were multiple reasons, few of the reasons are Alto have nice aerodynamic design and beautiful butter smooth 3 cylinder, 12 volve petrol engine with good mileage, pickup, passion about cars.
Restoration topics
- New Head lamp and tail lamp, (Head lamp & tail lamp we kept same from type 1 alto, we like this, because its from international model and looks good)
- Full body Coral Beige metallic Bhatti paint & denting job done.
- New Tyre's with existing alloy wheels, colored silver.
- Front Bull guard and Fog lamps on bumper.
- Inside adjustable mirrors.
- Rear spoiler, with break light.
- New front suspension. new seat covers. music system.
- New conventional Extramile CNG kit. Mileage (30 km in city 38 km on highway)
- Engine was already very smooth and nice so no any changes in engine.
- All restoration is done in Pune Maharashtra, India, it costed me around 35-40 thousand Rupees, excluding CNG kit.
Sad thing about maruti suzuki is, now a days company is not coming up with nice aerodynamic designs in small hatchbacks. and government is pushing for scrapping policy, hence these beautiful designs and engines will become a history very soon. but some enthusiastic people who maintain them will become a value add to these iconic cars.
